Am sure you want to know how i spent my val, well here goes the story
I planned to buy everything Hugo Boss and more for my bae , but na money no permit me. I was so broke , and i said to myself 'the devil is at work'. I did not know what to do, i was so sad that i cried to my friend and she said that he already knew i loved him and that was the most important thing.
So i got him something very little, but passed across a significant message. (i'll keep the info to myself, so una no go laugh me). Anyway, he made me extremely happy and i was convinced i was with the right person. At that point, i realized almost everyday in my relationship is like vals day, coz i have the most amazing bae in the world.
Ok! a lot of us don't know a thing about the history of val's day, so ill narrate in a few sentences.
Valentine was a priest who served in the third century in Rome. When Emperor Claudius II decided that single men made better soldiers than those with wives and families, he outlawed marriage for young men.
St Valentine defied Claudius and continued to perform marriages for young lovers in secret. When Valentine's action was discovered, Claudius ordered that he be put to death.
He was beheaded on February 14,after this tragedy, that day was set aside to celebrate love.
Although there are several accounts of this story, what is certain is that he died because of 'LOVE'.
We need to realize how important love is to the human race . It assures Peaceful co-existence, and Progress in any Family, Town, State, Country, even in the World at large.
If majority of people make love a priority, crimes and other social evils would be at its minimal rate.
Word of Advice: Give not just expensive gifts but gifts form your heart, it does not have to cost you a fortune as long as the gift is given on the platform of love.
